This dataset presents a curated collection of Marathi folk song lyrics written in the Devanagari script, compiled to support research in natural language processing, machine learning, and cultural informatics. The corpus contains annotated song records with titles, full lyrics, genre labels, regional origin within Maharashtra, and associated historical or contextual information.The dataset was developed to address the limited availability of structured resources for low-resource Indian languages and traditional music forms.
